The Africa Investment Forum (AIF) is set to take place from November 8 to 10 in Marrakech, Morocco. The continent’s foremost business gathering, this event will bring together Heads-of-State, decision makers, multinationals and investors showcasing Africa’s investment potential. The much-anticipated agenda for the three-day event under the theme "Unlocking Africa's Value Chains” has now been released.
The AIF is a dynamic, multi-stakeholder platform focusing on continental dealmaking, facilitating connections between project sponsors, policy makers and investors and has mobilised $142 billion in investment interest since 2018. This year, the Forum focuses on pressing themes of the day, including climate-resilient infrastructure, strategic minerals, and digital disruptors to build sustainable growth.
Commencing with a Royal Address from His Majesty Mohammed VI, this dynamic event will also include the participation of the President of Tanzania, the President of Togo, the President of the Union of Comoros, the President of Sierra Leone, and the Prime Minister of Barbados, who are convening to discuss the acceleration of Africa’s Economic Transformation.
Simultaneously, this timely conference will bring together industry experts and changemakers to deliberate on the various aspects of Africa’s economic transformation and success. The Forum will emphasise upon inclusive development, with a focus on women as investment champions as well as the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, in the run-up to the COP28.
