(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Limited (TOKYO:4502/NYSE:TAK) (“Takeda”) today applied for selection of the “Prime Market” segment of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (“TSE”) as its listing market as determined at the Board of Directors Meeting held on September 29 and 30, 2021. Takeda received the results of the initial assessment made by the TSE on July 9, 2021, confirming Takeda’s compliance with the listing requirements for the “Prime Market” in the new market segments that will be introduced on April 4, 2022 by the TSE. In addition, Takeda today filed its Corporate Governance Report with the TSE based on the Corporate Governance Code, which was revised on June 11, 2021. This report describes the status of compliance with the disclosure items required of companies listed on the "Prime Market.”
